Real Estate is a passion!

Real Estate is a passion I caught about 6 years ago. In my last life shall we say I dealt in weapons, fast military aircraft and lots of sand in the Middle East? I travelled quite a bit and found Asia a comfortable place to be over the last 26 years.

I first arrived in Malaysia in 1983 and discovered Thailand. The warmth and friendliness was awe inspiring and every time I get back there it is reinforced. 

I love Thailand where my wife is from… We always joke about getting out of jail after 24 years of marriage. It’s close to a life sentence isn’t it?

Thai and English are both used equally at home and Som is a great Aussie. Does a great job on the BBQ.

I was introduced to real estate by a co worker who thought it was a good idea when he returned to Australia.

On returning to Australia is searched for an opportunity I met a great guy in Bill Johnson.

Bills guidance and lots of work I made me Rookie of the year in 2005 for Century21 in South Australia.

I entered the Masters Club in 2007 and have been winning awards consistently with most of the awards available to sales persons now on my wall.

I was introduced to auctioneering and went off to do the Auctioneering course with the Society of Auctioneers & Appraisers who I am a member.

I met Mark Lloyd on the course and felt affinity with him. Honest, quiet spoken and as proven out very successful. I am now about to commence then next step in my career working alongside Mark and the team at Ray White Paralowie.

I guess what I like about real estate is the contact with lots of great people and the smiles on their faces when they sell their  home for a great price and the excitement I hand over the keys to a family moving into their new home. It’s the personal touch and providing the service clients expect and rightly so when they entrust their most valuable asset to your hands. It is a real honour to be given the trust to help a family take their next step in life.

I believe in the tenants from my martial arts training. Honesty, courtesy, Integrity, Self control, Perseverance and Indomitable spirit. The tenants of I.T.F Taekwon-Do.
